Sara graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Psychology and with a double major in History. As part of her psychology honors thesis with Dr. Kristjen Lundberg, Sara examined the reasons why individuals engage in extrinsic emotion regulation (EER) in daily life and how these motives may affect various aspects of well-being. She also conducted research on women in medieval Europe and families in post-WWII Germany as part of her historical studies. Sara was an active member of U of R's crew team and hopes to find a suitable body of water near Tucson to continue her rowing career. In the meantime, she hopes to become an avid hiker and explore Tucson through food.
