Rylee King

Research Assistant

Rylee is an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona graduating in December 2019 with a B.S. in Neuroscience & Cognitive Science and a minor in Biochemistry. Her fascination with neuroscience stems from the mix of biology and psychology the subject offers—along with the challenge of what remains to be learned about the human brain. Growing up in a military family, Rylee was ecstatic to join the SCAN Lab in August of 2018 for the opportunity to work on neuroscience research funded by the Department of Defense in support of the well-being of servicemembers. In the future, she hopes to use the skills acquired in the lab, as well as her passion for science and learning, to continue her education in medical school. Outside of work and school, she enjoys hiking in the Catalina Foothills, binge-watching new shows on Netflix, and taking her two Samoyeds to the dog park.
