Johnny Vanuk

Johnny Vanuk is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student in the Department of Psychology. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and completed an honors thesis investigating the effects of a yogic breathing intervention on cardiac vagal control. Prior to pursuing his doctorate, Johnny worked as a research assistant and consultant for multiple research projects at the UofA and ASU; aiding in the collection and analysis of EKG data. His research interests include investigating the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders with non-pharmacological interventions targeting sleep and emotion; using measures of autonomic psychophysiology.
