Delaney Jecmen

Research Assistant

From Flagstaff, Arizona, Delaney is a senior at the University of Arizona studying Neuroscience & Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neurobiology and a minor in Biochemistry. She will complete her Honor’s Thesis with the SCAN Lab looking at Blue Light Therapy, its potential usefulness in reducing symptoms of PTSD, and the underlying neural mechanisms of this.

Delaney plans to use the knowledge and skills learned from her time in the SCAN Lab as a Physician’s Assistant (PA) for a neurologist or neurosurgeon. Outside of her work and school, Delaney enjoys yoga, taking care of her plants, doing neat things in neature, and considers herself a professional Procrasti-Baker™ (baking to procrastinate).
