Kyle LaFollette

Research Technician

Kyle graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Biopsychology, concentrating on Decision Processes. His undergraduate work focused on the effects of acute stress and social anxiety on higher-order cognitive processing. In particular, he’s investigated alternative methods of mathematics instruction for increasing learning gains in individuals with high math anxiety, as well as the effects of performance pressure on isolated cognitive mechanisms, such as active maintenance in visual working memory. In his free time, Kyle enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing fingerstyle guitar.
