Anna received her bachelors of arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida's (USF) Psychology Honors Program in 2017. The positive results of her undergraduate thesis analyzing the role of pets in reducing stress inspired her to adopt her darling rottweiler-poodle mix Rosie Mae. Her interest in psychology lies in her belief that psychology can be utilized as a tool to improve people's quality of life. Her undergraduate work included assisting in the Cognitive Aging lab (now the Cognitive and Neurophysiology of Aging Lab) analyzing the use of brain games to prevent cognitive decline and the Body Image Research Group researching the psychological health of African American women. Here at the SCAN Lab, she is a part of the PTSD study where she enjoys working with the participants. After lab hours, Anna marvels the outdoors and she is thrilled to experience the desert life in Tucson!
